Get ready for the pitch
The deadline for Innovate Health Tech NYC is fast approaching — software or hardware solutions must be entered by May 2.
To help you get your submission in pitch-ready shape, we'd like to highlight the following tips and resources:
Start your draft now
Beginning your draft early is the best way to avoid getting caught by surprise later on. Start filling out the Enter a Submission page today and make sure you’re aware of all the requirements.
Once you start a draft, you can edit it at any time before the submission deadline. Fill out the easy fields now (like name, submission type, and submitter type), and you’ll have fewer items to worry about later on.
Submit early
When you’re ready to enter your submission, just visit the draft that you saved and click “Submit for Review” at the bottom of the form.
We review submissions on a rolling basis, so depending on how early you submit, we can tell you if anything in your submission is amiss and give you the opportunity to fix it before the deadline.
Keep in mind "the rule of five"
A handy reminder as you're putting your submission together:
- Your video video must be no longer than five minutes
- Your PDF presentation must be no longer than five slides
- Required Submission Questions must not be longer than five pages and must list each question and answer
Craft the perfect video & slides
Your video will be shown online to the public for the Popular Choice Finalist vote; and should you be selected as a Judges' Choice or Popular Choice Finalist, your PDF presentation will be a draft of what you will give to the judges at Demo Day — so make them great!
